Themed Icons for Android 8+.

We have updated Pix Material You Light/Dark icon pack Play Store downgraded android version to 8+. Now users of Android devices below version 12 have the opportunity to feel themed icons that change color depending on the wallpaper. We have also released an icon pack in the style of OneUi5 - OneYou Themed with the same abilities.

But it wouldn't be impossible without Hyperion Launcher (beta). The developer of this launcher added support for themed icons from Android 13 and made it available to device with lower android version.

Also in recent Lawnchair 12.1(dev) updates (#1414), the developers have added the possibility of themed icons for icon packs that support it. And our icons instantly change color on Android 8+ and above.

Hyperion Launcher

Here's a little guide to proper usage:

You must download Hyperion Launcher Beta
Download Pix Material You Light/Dark icon pack or OneYou Themed

Setting the color scheme

Setting Hyperion > Colors > Theme > Theme base color > Wallpaper color

Activating Themed Icons

Setting Hyperion > Iconography > Themed Icons.

Having configured everything correctly, the icons will change color from the wallpaper and from the system theme (Light / Dark) automatically with a delay of a couple of seconds on devices starting with android version 8+.

Lawnchair Launcher 12.1

Smart Launcher

Recently, the Smart Launcher developer has implemented the ability to automatically change the color of icons not only on Android 12+, but also on earlier versions starting with Android 8... This works with our two icon packs Pix Material You Light/Dark and OneYou Themed... You must download Smart Launcher ( join to beta) Google Play
